Satisfaction Guarantee: 

If you are unsatisfied with your purchase for any reason, you can return the bow in unused condition within 14 days of receipt of purchase and we will exchange for a full refund minus shipping and handling. Please email or call us for shipping instructions back to us. 

Twelve-Month Limited Warranty:

Unlawful Games’ bows come with a twelve-month limited warranty. All bows go through rigorous testing before they leave our hands. Wooden bows when properly cared for will last for a long time. This limited warranty covers all bow failures caused by a defect in the wood. In the event of a defect in the wood, the bow will be replaced or refunded at seller’s option during the twelve-month limited warranty period. Shipping fees are non-refundable. This limited warranty also covers cracks or breaks unless voided as set out below. In the event that a crack develops or a minor break occurs, seller will fix, replace or refund the bow at seller’s option.

Events that will void the limited warranty: 

IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY: Certain events will void this limited warranty. 

• IMPROPER STRINGING: If a bow breaks through misuse such as improper stringing (i.e. placing one end of the bow on the floor while stringing, bending one side of the bow only) it will void this limited warranty. A video detailing the proper technique can be found in our “Bow Making Videos” page on this website.
• DRY-FIRING: If a bow is dry-fired (drawn and fired without an arrow) it will void this limited warranty. Dry-firing any bow is dangerous and could cause physical injury as well as damage to the bow.  
• LEAVING BOW STRUNG FOR MORE THAN 20 HRS. Leaving a wooden bow strung up for more than 20 hours will damage the bow and will void this limited warranty. 
• DRAWING THE BOW FURTHER THAN THE LISTED DRAW LENGTH.  Each bow has a draw range that should not be exceeded for any reason. Unlawful Games’ bows are made to stay within the represented draw range and tested for that range only. Exceeding this range will not only void the warranty, but is also dangerous. 
• LEAVING THE BOW OUTSIDE FOR MORE THAN 20 HRS. If a bow is left outside in the elements for more than 20 hrs. it will void this limited warranty. Leaving a wooden bow outside in the elements will damage the bow and will void this warranty.
